Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Hot Huts Mobile Saunas.

By booking, attending, or participating in any Hot Huts sauna session, event, or activation, you agree to the following 
terms and conditions.

These terms apply to all services operated by Hot Huts Mobile Saunas Pty Ltd, its owners, staff, contractors, franchise partners and affiliated operators (“Hot Huts”).

   1. Assumption of Risk

  • Sauna use involves inherent risks including elevated body temperature, dehydration, dizziness, fainting, slips, falls, and interaction with cold environments.

  • By participating, you acknowledge these risks and accept full responsibility for your participation.

  • You use the sauna at your own risk.

 

   2. Health & Safety

  • You confirm that you are physically able to safely use a sauna.

  • It is your responsibility to consult a medical professional if you are unsure.

  • You agree to exit immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, nauseous or unwell.

  • Although trained in first aid, Hot Huts staff are not medical professionals and cannot assess your fitness to participate.

 

   3. Contraindications

Sauna use may not be suitable if you:

  • Are pregnant or suspect pregnancy
  • Have uncontrolled blood pressure
  • Have cardiovascular conditions
  • Have respiratory conditions worsened by heat
  • Have fever, infection, open wounds or skin conditions
  • Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Take medication affecting heat regulation
  • Have any condition worsened by heat or dehydration

By participating, you confirm that either none apply or you have medical clearance.

 

   4. Personal Responsibility in the Sauna

You agree to follow staff instructions and signage.

Do

  • Hydrate before and after
  • Sit on a towel
  • Exit if unwell
  • Respect session times
  • Respect other guests

Do not

  • Enter under the influence
  • Pour water on heaters unless instructed
  • Behave recklessly
  • Stay beyond your limits

Hot Huts may remove anyone acting unsafely or disrespectfully without refund.

 

   5. Liability

  • Personal responsibility: Users are responsible for their own safety and wellbeing. Hot Huts Pty Ltd is not liable for any injuries or health issues resulting from sauna use.
  • Damage: Users are responsible for any damage caused to the sauna or its equipment.

 

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, you release Hot Huts from any claims, injuries, loss, or damages arising from participation in sauna sessions, cold exposure, events, or movement between facilities.

This includes injury, illness, loss or damage to personal property.

 

   6. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hot Huts against claims arising from:

  • Your participation
  • Guests booked under your name
  • Minors in your care
  •  

   7. Group Bookings

If booking for others, you confirm:

  • You accept these terms on their behalf
  • You have authority to do so
  • All participants have been informed
  •  

   8. Under 18 Participants

  • Participants under 18 require consent from a parent or legal guardian.
  • Parents and guardians accept responsibility for the minor’s safe use of the sauna.
  • Hot Huts may restrict access for minors at certain locations.

 

   9. Voluntary Participation

  • Participation is voluntary.

  • You may leave at any time.

  • No refunds are provided for early exit.

 

10. Right to Refuse Service

  • Hot Huts may refuse entry or remove anyone who:

    • Appears intoxicated
    • Acts aggressively
    • Ignores safety instructions
    • Creates risk for others

    No refund will be issued.

 

11. Photography and Media

  • Hot Huts may capture photo and video content at sessions, events and locations for use in:

    • Social media
    • Advertising
    • Website
    • Press
    • Promotional material

     

    By attending, you grant Hot Huts permission to use your likeness in marketing and promotional content.

    If you do not wish to appear in identifiable imagery, you must inform staff before your session.

    Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requests, but exclusion cannot be guaranteed in public or busy environments.

 

12. Franchise and Partner Locations

  • Hot Huts operates across multiple locations including licensed and franchise partners.

  • These terms apply across all Hot Huts locations and events unless otherwise stated.

13. Bookings, Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • More than 24 hours before session
    • Full refund or reschedule
  • 6 to 24 hours before session
    • 50 percent refund
    • Reschedule permitted
  • Less than 6 hours before session
    • No refund
    • No reschedule
  • Missed sessions are forfeited.

 

  • Hot Huts may cancel or reschedule due to weather, safety, mechanical issues, or operational requirements. A credit or reschedule will be offered.

14. Memberships and Credits

  • Where memberships or credits apply:

    • Credits are non-transferable unless stated
    • Expiry dates apply
    • Misuse may result in cancellation
    • Unlimited memberships are subject to fair use

    Hot Huts may update membership terms with notice.

15. Communications and Email Marketing

  • By providing your contact details through booking, enquiry, purchase, sign-up, or direct interaction, you consent to being contacted for operational purposes.

    Transactional Communications

    You agree to receive essential communications including:

    • Booking confirmations
    • Reminders
    • Schedule or location updates
    • Safety information
    • Receipts and invoices
    • Membership notifications

    These may be sent via email, SMS or messaging platforms and are required to deliver services.

    Marketing Communications

    Marketing communications will only be sent to individuals who have provided their contact details through booking, enquiry, purchase, sign-up, or direct consent.

    These may include:

    • New locations
    • Events and collaborations
    • Membership updates
    • Promotions
    • Product launches

    You may opt out at any time via unsubscribe link or direct request.

    Data Protection

    Hot Huts takes reasonable steps to protect personal information in accordance with applicable laws including POPIA.

    Information may be stored using secure third-party booking, CRM and email platforms.

    Hot Huts will not sell personal information.

16. Changes to Terms

  • Hot Huts may update these terms at any time.

  • The latest version applies to all bookings and participation.
